A New Political Action Committee In Jonesborough Known As “Citizens For Better Government In Washington County” Is Joining In The Political Battle For Mayor. The Group Is Being Headed By Incumbent Mayor Kelly Wolfe’s Political Rival, Kent Harris. Recently, The Group Sent Out Flyers To Town Voters Claiming Wolfe Didn’t Have To Pay For A Practice Burn By The Town’s Fire Department And Used Tax Payer Money. Mayor Wolfe Denies The Claim And Said He Spent Nearly 15-Thousand Dollars From His Own Pocket To Cover The Costs. Harris Said He Will Continue To Voice Concerns To The Community With What Little Time That’s Left Until The Election.
