A 510-Thousand Dollar Grant Will Be Used To Help Fund The Second Phase Of The Surgoinsville Sewer System Project Which Will Help Rectify The Worst Septic Problem For 18 Customers. The Town’s Match For The Project Will Only Be Around 22-Thousand Dollars. The First Phase Cost 3.5 Million Dollars And Has Just Been Completed. Phase 2 Will Affect Homes Immediately To The West Of The School On Main Street And Then Turn Up The Wood Lane Intersection And Affect Homes On Both Sides Of That Street.
