Wellmont Health System Had Adopted A New Policy That Will Restrict The Hiring Of Individuals Who Use Tobacco Products. The Policy Went Into Effect On October 31st And Requires Testing Of All Applicants For Nicotine And Other Tobacco Substances Who Have Been Offered Employment. The New Policy Will Also Affect Contracted Workers Who Could Potentially Work At Wellmont. Those Who Are Disqualified Due To A Positive Test Will Be Eligible To Reapply After Three Months.
