During 2016, A Grocery Chain Donated A Total Of 150-Thousand Dollars From Its Three Tri Cities Area Stores To The Second Harvest Food Bank Of Northeast Tennessee. As The New Year Of 2017 Kicks Off, Kroger Presented A Check For 13-Hundred Dollars To The Food Bank. The Money Came From Kroger’s Bringing Hope To The Table Program. Second Harvest Will Use The Money To Buy Food To Distribute Through Its 228 Partner Agencies To Food Pantries, Soup Kitchens, Shelters, Meal Programs, And After School Programs.
