Kingsport Is Winding Down Its Loose Leaf Collection Service. City Crews Are Out Picking Up Leaves From October Until About The Middle Of January. Streets And Sanitation Manager, Ronnie Hammonds, Said This Year’s Service Will End January 15th. He Said Crews Typically Collect Upwards Of 2,000 Tons Of Leaves Each Season. If You Do Still Have Leaves, Be Sure To Leave Them At The Edge Of Your Yard And Not In The Street And Keep All Piles Clean And Free Of Trash, Limbs Or Other Yard Debris.
