A Sullivan County Mail Carrier Who Stored Mail In Her Home Instead Of Delivering It Won’t Spend Any Time Behind Bars. Kathy Gross Pleaded Guilty In U.S. District Court In Greeneville Last March To Obstructing The Passage Of U.S. Mail And Unlawfully Delaying A Package Or Mail In Her Possession. A Judge Ordered Her To Serve Two Years Probation And Perform 150 Hours Of Community Service. Gross Failed To Deliver Nearly 27-Hundred Pieces Of Mail. All Of The Mail Was Recovered And Delivered. Gross Said She Didn’t Deliver The Mail Because She Was Going Through A Rough Time In Her Life, Suffering From Depression And Anxiety.
