The Scott County Virginia Board Of Supervisors Is Considering Several Options After Facing A Nearly Half-Million Dollar Increase In Contributions To The Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Authority. Some Of The Options Being Considered Include Raising Taxes, Alternative Forms Of Punishment, Asking State Legislators For Help And Even Withdrawing From The Jail System Altogether.
