Just Over 4-Million Dollars In State Funding Has Been Proposed By Governor Bill Haslam For A New Welcome Facility And Additional Infrastructure Work At The Rocky Fork State Park In Unicoi County. The Money Will Be Used To Construct A Visitor Center, Maintenance Building, Two Picnic Shelters, Pedestrian Bridge And A Driveway. The Hope Is Now The State Legislature Approves The Spending Plan. State Senator Rusty Crowe And Upper East Tennessee Delegation Will Spearhead Efforts To Get It Approved.
