Residents In The Tri-Cities And In Parts Of Southwest Virginia Will Likely Be Digging Even Deeper Into Their Pockets To Pay Their Electric Bills. The Tennessee Valley Authority Says They’re Paying More For Fuel Due To Colder Than Normal Temperatures And A Greater Demand For Electricity. As A Result, Residential Bills Will Increase From $2.50 To $5.50 Per Month. That Increase Is Scheduled To Begin March 1st.
