The Tennessee Board Of Regents Has Been Asked To Place Northeast State Community College’s President On Paid Administrative Leave Pending An Ongoing Investigation Of Dr. Janice Gilliam And The College. In A Letter, The College’s Faculty Senate Cited Several Reasons For The Request Including Fiscal Imprudence, Attempted Circumvention Of Tbr And Northeast State Institutional Polices, And Creation Of An Atmosphere Of Distrust And A Culture Of Fear On Campus. On February 2nd, Faculty Members Voted No Confidence In Gilliam’s Leadership By A Large Margin, 98-16.
