The Appalachian School Of Law In Grundy Virginia Has Received A 1-Million Dollar Loan From The Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority. The Payment Represents The Second Installment In A 6-Million Dollar Funding Package And Brings The Total Up To Five Million Dollars. The Funds Will Be Disbursed To The School Through The Buchanan County Industrial Development Authority. The Authority Said It Has Helped The Law School Retain 39 Jobs. An Additional One Million Dollar Installment Is Expected To Be Awarded Next Year If The School Meets Additional Performance Criteria.
