The Greene County Commission Will Decide On The 2017-18 Fiscal Year Budget Monday, Which Includes A Possible Tax Hike. The Proposed 13 Cent Increase Is A Flat Rate Where The City And County Will Both Be Paying Two Dollars. Mayor David Crum Said The Increase Is So The County Will Not Have To Take Money Out Of The Fund Balance. Another Reason Is To Fund Capital Improvement Projects And Update The Two-Way Radio System For The Highway Department. The Meeting Will Be Held At Five O’clock This Afternoon.
