The Johnson City Energy Authority Board Of Directors Has Approved 1.7 Million Dollars Worth Of Contract Work For A New Substation. The Plan Is To Build The New Facility Between Jonesborough And Johnson City. Currently, Only A Single Substation Serves ETSU, Johnson City Medical Center And The Mountain Home VA Medical Center And Nearby Homes In The Area. Ground Should Be Broken In November With The Project Expected To Take A Year To Be Completed.
