A Washington County Virginia Grand Jury Has Indicted A Emory Virginia Man On First Degree Murder And Use Of A Firearm In The Commission Of A Felony. 25 Year Old James Canter Iii Is Accused In The Death Of His Live-In Girlfriend, 23 Year Old Asheligh Langbein Of Katy Texas In January Of Last Year. According To An Affidavit, Langbein Appeared To Have Died From A Gunshot Wound. Canter Allegedly Told Authorities He Couldn’t Remember Details About The Incident Because He Was Impaired Due To Dropping Acid. Commonwealth Attorney Joshua Cumbow Said There Will Not Be A Plea Offer In The Case. Canter Will Appear In Circuit Court At A Later Date.
