Kingsport Police Have Been Successful In Ending A Standoff Peacefully. Officers Went To Check The General Health And Welfare Of A Subject Reportedly Suicidal At A Home On Martingale Square Last Night. The Resident Decided To Escalate The Situation, Which Resulted In A Three Hour Standoff With Police. The Person Was Apprehended Around Two O’clock This Morning And Taken To A Area Healthcare Facility For Evaluation. Criminal Charges Are Pending.
