A Single Vehicle Wreck Has Claimed The Life Of A Greeneville Man. It Happened Along The Old Asheville Highway Just South Of The City Limits. According To The Greene County Sheriff’s Department, 53 Year Old Marty Alan Ayers Was Traveling Northbound When His Minivan Went Off The Right Side Of The Road At Devil’s Elbow And Struck A Tree Head-On. Officers Reportedly Found Narcotics Along With Paraphernalia In The Vehicle. An Autopsy Is To Be Performed. The Investigation Is Ongoing.
