A Former Rogersville Water Superintendent Has Been Indicted On Theft Charges. Shawn Hatchett Is Charged With Theft Over 250-Thousand Dollars, Theft Over 60-Thousand Dollars, And Official Misconduct. According To A Tennessee Comptroller’s Report, He Allegedly Diverted Cash Collections Totaling At Least 338-Thousand Dollars By Withholding Cash Collections From Deposits He Was Entrusted To Deliver To The Bank. Hatchett Is Being Held In The Hawkins Count Jail On A 250-Thousand Dollar Bond. He’s Set To Be Arraigned On June 8th.
