A Crowd Of People Attending The Bristol Virginia City Council Meeting Weren’t Very Happy With Proposed Budget Cuts For Some Departments And Additional Money For Others. The 2018-19 Fiscal Year Spending Plan Calls For A Reduction In The Police Department By One Full-Time Employee And Cutting Two Employees In The Fire Department. Three Full-Time Parks And Recreation Jobs Will Also Be Cut Along With 300-Thousand In Funding For The School System. A Public Hearing On The Budget Will Be Held May 8th.
