NICHOLAS OVERBAY WAS FOUND GUILTY OF KILLING JOSH TILSON AT WARRIOR’S PATH STATE PARK CHRISTMAS DAY 2004. HE AND COREY OSBORNE FLED TO NEW ORLEANS BEFORE BEING CAPTURED. CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE JON BLACKWOOD DENIED OVERBAY’S MOTION YESTERDAY. IN ADDITION, OVERBAY’S ATTORNEY, LYNN DOUGHERTY, WITHDREW FROM THE CASE. THE JUDGE APPOINTED THE PUBLIC DEFENDER’S OFFICE TO CONTINUE WITH OVERBAY’S APPEALS.
