WITH THE FLU SEASON JUST AROUND THE CORNER, THE WASHINGTON COUNTY TENNESSEE HEALTH DEPARTMENT IS OFFERING FLU VACCINE TO THE PUBLIC. WITH NO SHORTAGE OF VACCINE THIS YEAR, HEALTH OFFICIALS SAY THEIR SUPPLIES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ANYONE WISHING TO BE PROTECTED FROM THE FLU THIS SEASON. SEVERAL MASS FLU CLINICS ARE SCHEDULED AT THE WASHINGTON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 18TH FROM 8:30 A.M TO 6 P.M.. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 24TH FROM 8:30 A.M. TO 3 P.M., AND TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30TH FROM 8:30 A.M. TO 3 P.M. PERSONS AGE 19 AND OLDER CAN MAKE APPOINTMENTS BY CALLING THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT AT 975-2200. COST OF THE FLU SHOTS IS 25 DOLLARS. PNEUMONIA VACCINES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE FOR 41 DOLLARS.
