A Kingsport fugitive wanted on multiple counts of child rape and exploitation has been captured over the weekend near Matamoros, Mexico, and jailed in southern Texas. Donald Edward Lynch, was on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s top ten most wanted list. He had been profiled three times on the TV program “America’s Most Wanted.” The 66-year-old was taken into custody by Mexican authorities Saturday. Before being extradited across the border, Lynch claimed his real name was Reynaldo Price and denied the charges. Police Lieutenant Bud Hulsey is glad Lynch has been captured…..

Lynch faces 11 counts of rape of a child, 38 counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and five counts of aggravated sexual battery. In February 2003, two sisters, ages 7 and 11, told investigators that he repeatedly molested them while baby-sitting them. Investigators allege he victimized eight other girls, the youngest 3 years old. Lynch is being held in a Detention center in Texas pending Extradition.hulsey.mp3
