A BRISTOL TENNESSEE MAN HAS BEEN CONVICTED OF MURDER IN A 2006 SLAYING. THE 12-MEMBER BRISTOL VIRGINIA JURY RETURNED THE VERDICT IN THE CASE OF 47 YEAR OLD GARY REX HENSON AFTER DELIBERATING LESS THAN 30 MINUTES. HENSON WAS CONVICTED OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER, ROBBERY, AND CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT ROBBERY. 54 YEAR OLD JERRY STOUT DIED A SHORT TIME AFTER THE BEATING AT A LOCAL HOSPITAL. STOUT DIED FROM INJURIES HE SUSTAINED AS THE RESULT OF BEING BEATEN IN AN OVERGROWN LOT IN BRISTOL VIRGINIA CALLED “THE JUNGLE. THE JURY WILL CONSIDER SENTENCING FOR HENSON.
