A WASHINGTON COUNTY TENNESSEE MAN ACCUSED OF FLEEING FROM THE SCENE OF A CRASH THAT SERIOUSLY INJURED A FOUR YEAR OLD CHILD IS BEING HELD IN THE COUNTY DETENTION CENTER ON A 25-THOUSAND DOLLARS BOND. ANIBAL CALVA IS CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS OF VEHICULAR ASSAULT, LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT WITH INJURIES, DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE AND SEVERAL OTHER TRAFFIC LAWS. FRANCIS MANNING AND HER FOUR YEAR OLD SON WERE TRANSPORTED TO A JOHNSON CITY HOSPITAL. THE MOTHER WAS TREATED FOR MINOR INJURIES WHILE THE CHILD WAS LISTED IN CRITICAL CONDITION. CALVA IS SET TO BE ARRAIGNED THIS MORNING IN GENERAL SESSIONS COURT.
