The Tennessee Department Of Correction Is Offering Incentives To Those Interested In A Career In Public Safety. According To The Department, Newly Hired Correctional Officer Applicants Will Receive A $5,000 Sign On Bonus, Payable Over An 18-Month Period. A $4,000 Retention Bonus Will Be Offered To Current Correctional Officers. In Addition To The Hiring And Retention Bonuses, TDOC Employees Who Recruit New Correctional Officers Will Be Eligible For A $1,000 Bonus. There Are 858 Correctional Officer Vacancies In TDOC Facilities Statewide And 40 Of Those Are At The Northeast Correctional Complex In Mountain City. Visit Tn.Gov/Correction.
