A BRISTOL TENNESSEE MAN ACCUSED OF TWO THEFTS AND A HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT HAS BEEN INDICTED BY A SULLIVAN COUNTY GRAND JURY. 25 YEAR OLD BOBBY LEE HARR IS CHARGED WITH FELONY EVADING ARREST, RECKLESS DRIVING, TWO COUNTS OF THEFT OVER ONE-THOUSAND DOLLARS DRIVING ON A REVOKED LICENSE, FAILURE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF INSURACE, AND A REGISTRATION VIOLATION. HARR’S ACCUSED OF FLEEING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT ON STATE ROUTE 126 AT HILL ROAD MARCH 16TH OF LAST YEAR. HE TOLD AUTHORITIES HE’D GOTTEN SCARED AND LEFT THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT BECAUSE HIS LICENSE WAS SUSPENDED. HARR WAS ON WORK RELEASE AT THE SULLIVAN COUNTY DETENTION CENTER AT THAT TIME. IN OCTOBER, , HE ALLEGEDLY STOLE TRACTOR TRAILER WHEELS, ALUMINUM PARTS, AND WELDING CABLE FROM TWO BUSINESSES ON 11-W. HE THEN TURN AROUND AND SOLD THE COPPER TO KINGSPORT IRON AND METAL. HARR’S CURRENTLY BEING HELD ON A 1–THOUSAND DOLLAR BOND IN THE SULLIVAN COUNTY JAIL. HE’S SCHEDULED TO APPEAR IN COURT JANUARY 31ST.
