An Investigation By TBI Agents And The Claiborne County Sheriff Office, A New Tazewell Man Is Facing Charges Of Criminal Homicide. The Investigation Began On April 2nd After 49 Year Old Lori Ann Hopson Was Found Deceased Outside Of A Vehicle In The 500 Block Of Barren Creek Road. During The Course Of The Investigation, 37 Year Old Benjamin Wayne Hopson, The Victim’s Husband, Was Determined To Be The Individual Allegedly Responsible For Her Death. He Was Served In The Claiborne County Jail Where He Was Already Being Held On Other Charges And His Bond Is Set At $1 Million Bond.
