The Kingsport Board Of Education Has Decided To Decrease Out-Of-City Tuition Rates For Students. Beginning Next Year, Non-Kingsport Residents In Tennessee Will Pay $1,000 A Year Per Student. For Those Students Of City And School System Employees, The Rate Will Be $500 A Year. Out Of State Tuition Will Remain At Nearly $10,000. The Change Comes After School Officials Deemed The Current Rates Were Higher Than Other School Systems. It Will Take Effect Next Year.
