The Proposed Washington County Tennessee School Board’s 100-Million Dollar Proposed Budget For This Upcoming Fiscal Year Includes Payraises For Teachers And Staff. This Includes Just Over 2-Thousand Dollars In A Flat Increase For All Certified Personnel, A Dollar Per Hour Raise For All Classified Employees And 3-Percent Raises For Supervisors And Certified Administrators. In Other Business, The School Board Has Approved Using Just Over 11-Million Dollars In Its Unrestricted And Designated Fund Balance To Cover A Gap Between Revenues And Expenditures. The New Fiscal Year Begins July 1st. The County’s Budget Committee Is Expected To Vote On The Spending Plan On May 8th
