The TBI Has Filed Charges In Connection With An Officer-Involved Shooting That Occurred Recently In Johnson City. Brad Ward Is Facing Several Charges Including Attempted Murder, Domestic Assault And Aggravated Assault On A First Responder. Officers Responded To The 100 Block Of West Chestnut Street On June 21st And Encountered Ward, Who Was Armed With A Shotgun. During The Confrontation, Ward Allegedly Fired At Officers And That’s When They Returned Fire, Striking Ward. He’s Being Held Without Bond.
