The Scott County Virginia Sheriff’s Office Has Concluded An Investigation Into A Bomb Threat At Gate City Middle School. The Threat Yesterday Prompted An Evacuation Of The School Complex. Law Enforcement Specialty Units Conducted A Sweep Of The Building Before Students Returned To Class. Sheriff Jeff Edds Reports The Threat Was Determined To Be A Hoax. Multiple Law Enforcement Agencies Assisted In The Response Including Virginia State Police, Kingsport Police And Several Tennessee Departments. Charges Are Now Pending Against Suspects Developed During The Investigation.
