The Bristol Virginia City Council Has Given Preliminary Approval To The Over 95 Million General Fund Operating Budget And Related Spending Plans For Fiscal 2025-26. City Leaders Made No Changes To The Budget Initially Presented Last Month, Approving It On First Reading, With Councilman Michael Pollard Casting The Lone Dissenting Vote. Final Reading Is Planned For The May 27th Meeting And It Would Go Into Effect July 1st When The New Fiscal Year Begins.
