A Roan Mountain Corrections Officer Has Been Arrested On Child Exploitation Charges. The TBI Says 22-Year-Old Hunter Chase Ellison Was Arrested Following A Joint Investigation With The Weakley County Sheriff’s Office. TBI Agents Began Investigating In February After A Report Of A 9-Year-Old Sending Child Sex Abuse Material To An Adult Male Via Snapchat. Ellison Is Charged With Especially Aggravated Sexual Exploitation Of A Minor And Solicitation Of A Minor By Electronic Means. At The Time Of The Alleged Crime, Ellison Worked As A Corrections Officer At Northeast Correctional Complex In Mountain City. He Was Arrested At His Workplace And Taken To Johnson County Jail.
