The First Tennessee Development District Has Been Awarded 3-Million Dollars To Help With Recovery Efforts From Hurricane Helene. The National Dislocated Worker Grant Will Fund Temporary Jobs For Up To 275 People Through September 2026. Participants Will Be Paid To Help Clear Debris, Repair Infrastructure, And Restore Public Areas. The Program Also Includes Support Services And Short-Term Training For Certifications In Disaster-Related Fields.
