The Wellspring Foundation Of Southwest Virginia Has Launched A New Nonprofit To Address A Regional Housing Crisis. The “Appalachian Highlands Housing Partners” Will Develop And Preserve Affordable Homes For Essential Workers Such As Nurses, Teachers, And First Responders In Washington, Grayson, Russell, And Smyth Counties. Site Planning For The Initial Projects Is Underway.
