Tennessee Drivers Are Paying More At The Pump As Gas Prices Continue To Rise. The Statewide Average Climbed To $2.79 Per Gallon, Reflecting A Six-Cent Increase From Last Week’s Average Of $2.73. Despite The Increase, Tennessee Prices Remain Below The National Average Of $3.15 Per Gallon. AAA Spokesperson Stephanie Milani Said The Upward Trend Is Driven By Higher Crude Oil Costs Which Have Climbed From Approximately $67 To Just Over $68 Per Barrel. The Price Increases Are Also Attributed To Reduced Fuel Supplies And Ongoing Market Fluctuations.
