Tennessee Voters Are Expected To Turn Out In Large Numbers As They Decide On Four Amendments When They Head To The Polls In November. The First One Would Allow The Legislature To Enact, Amend Or Repeal Statutes Regarding Abortion. Amendment Two Would Allow The Governor To Appoint Tennessee Supreme Court Or Any Intermediate Appellate Court Judges. The Third Amendment Would Prohibit A Personal Income Tax In The State. And The Final Amendment Would Allow Not-For-Profit Veteran’s Groups Operating Under 501c-19 Tax Status To Hold An Annual Lottery Event To Benefit The Group. These Items Will Be Voted On In The November 4th State Election.
