Members Of The Washington County Virginia Board Of Supervisors Have Voted To File A Complaint In Circuit Court To Recover 50-Thousand Dollars In Advance Money They Gave To A Proposed Medical School Project. The Board Had Originally Agreed To Supply 7.5 Million Dollars To The Southwest Virginia School Of Medicine And Had Given A 50-Thousand Dollar Advance Last Year. In January, The Board Allowed Its Agreement With The Medical School To Expire, Effectively Ending The Relationship Between The Two. Now County Leaders Want That Money Back.
