Sullivan County Schools Are Expected To Ask For 4.8 Million Dollars In Additional Money From County Leaders For This Upcoming Fiscal Year. The Current Draft Budget Of 84-Million Dollars Includes A 4-Percent Pay Increase For All Employees. The Additional Funds Would Be Used For Renovation Funding, Bringing Maintenance And Custodial Employees Back To An Eight Hour Day, Making Nurses Full-Time School Employees And Establishing A Fire Science Career Technical Education Program. The New Fiscal Year Begins July 1st.
