Elizabethton Police Are Looking For A Male Subject Regarding Outstanding Charges After A Three Year Old Child Was Found Critically Injured Over The Weekend. 28 Year Old Demetrius Covington, Also Known As Somerville, Of Bristol, Tennessee, Is Charged With Aggravated Child Neglect. Covington, Who Is The Child’s Stepfather, Reportedly Telephoned The Child’s Mother At Her Place Of Work Stating That The Child Was Injured And Requested She Come Home. When He Arrived Home, The Child Was Having Difficulty Breathing, So She Took Him To The Emergency Room. Covington Was Gone When The Mother Arrived Home. He’s Believed To Be In The Bristol, Tennessee Area. Covington Is Described As 5-7, 185 Pounds, And Operating A 2003 White Chevrolet Impala. Anyone With Any Information About His Whereabouts Is Asked To Contact Police.
