A Much Needed Radio System Upgrade Is Getting Nearer. Greene County’s 911 Board Of Directors Has Approved Money For The Enhancement. Leaders Said It Will Help Improve The County’s Emergency Communications. The Board Voted To Spend 20-Thousand Dollars To Convert Data From The Current Computer Aided Dispatch System To A Newer System. Officials Said The Conversion Will Begin Immediately And Will Take Until July 10th To Complete. The Conversion Will Eventually Link Their Radios To Technology At The Greeneville Police Department.
