An Audit Of The City Of Kingsport’s Finances Has Yielded The City’s Bookkeeping A Clean Bill Of Health. According To The 2016 Report, The City Ended The Fiscal Year With A Slight Increase To Its Rainy Day Fund, The City Had Good Growth In Both Property And Overall Debt Dropped By Just Over 2-Million Dollars. The Only Weakness Identified Was The City Failed To Properly Identify Expenses Related To A Federal Grant. The City Will Address This Issue In The Months To Come.
