Hawkins County School Leaders Are Proposing Four New Positions As Well As Pay Raises For Coaches And Non-Certified Employees. This Is In-Light Of The County Being Two Million Dollars In The Red. Three Of The Four Positions Will Only Cost The School System An Additional 30-Thousand Dollars Because They Will Be Cutting Grass Full Time Instead Of A Contractor. A Budget Workshop To Discuss Next Year’s Fiscal Spending Plan Will Be Discussed On May 4th.
