GREENE COUNTY FARMERS STRICKEN BY THIS YEAR’S DROUGHT HAVE REQUESTED MORE THAN 22-THOUSAND BALES OF HAY. THE DIRECTOR OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND HOMELAND SECURITY, BILL BROWN HAS REPORTEDLY SAID HIS OFFICE HAS RECEIVED 250 CALLS FOR NEARLY 22-THOUSAND ROUND BALES OF HAY. STATE REPRESENTATIVE DAVID HAWK IS URGING COMMUNITY SUPPORT IN PAYING FOR THE TRANSPORTATION COST OF BRING IN THE HAY.
