THE MOTHER OF A GEORGIA MAN ACCUSED OF KILLING AND DISMEMBERING A GEORGIA TEEN COUPLE OVER FIVE YEARS AGO HAS MADE AN APPEARANCE IN WASHINGTON COUNTY TENNESSEE CRIMINAL COURT FOR A STATUS HEARING. 76 YEAR OLD BETTY WILLIS OF JOHNSON CITY IS CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS OF ABUSE OF A COURPSE AND ACCESSORY AFTER THE FACT OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER. SHE’S ACCUSED OF HELPING HER SON, HOWARD HAWK WILLIS DISMEMBER AND HIDE THE BODIES OF 17 YEAR OLD ADAM CHRISMER AND 16 YEAR OLD SAMANTHA LEMMING IN 2002. CIRMINAL COURT JUDGE ROBERT CUPP TOLD WILLIS DUE TO HER ONGOING APPEARANCES, ANOTHER STATUS HEARING COULD NOT BE SCHEDULED UNTIL APRIL 26TH, BUT SHE WOULD HAVE TO CALL IN ONCE A WEEK.
