Washington County Virginia Leaders Have Voted To Lower The Property Tax Rate This Upcoming Fiscal Year. The Rate Will Drop 3-Cents To 60-Cents Per $100 Of Assessed Value Beginning In July. The Move Comes Following A Realization Of The Current Budget Which Allows For The Decrease. Supervisor Philip McCall Did Note The Upcoming Budget Meetings Will Have To Be Strict Since The Lower Rate Allows For Little Give For Adjustments.
