A New Hands-On Exhibit At Bays Mountain Park Is Bringing The Appalachian Highlands To Life. The Display, Titled Discover Our Appalachian Highlands Home, Features A Large Lake Diorama With Animals Like Bears, Turkeys, Otters, And Beavers—Along With Interactive Stations Where Guests Can Touch Furs, Smell Wildlife Scents, And Even Crawl Into A Beaver Lodge. The Fifty-Three Thousand Dollar Exhibit Was Designed By Cassy Rose And Completed Last Week. Park Officials Say It Aims To Inspire Visitors Of All Ages To Connect With Nature And Learn About Our Region’s Ecosystem.
